Children: Training in taekwondo helps children develop self esteem, attention span, and focus while setting a foundation of self control, discipline, flexibility, balance, and coordination.JDK has three children's programs:
- Grasshoppers: ages 4 and 5.
- Juniors: ages 6-12
- Teens: ages 13-16
Adults: ages 16 and up. The adult program teaches self-defense and self-control, increases physical fitness, through strength and cardio training, and helps students develop greater balance, coordination, and flexibility.
